The Melagiri Documentation Project aka MDP is a collaborative, moderated database where KANS members can upload their sightings or records of birds, mammals, insects, butterflies, plants etc in the appropriate category given as sub pages. Also included are the report classes for recording activities labelled as conservation and destructive activities and to record news links from the region.
We request you to contribute to this documentation project by reporting your sightings and records. The sightings must be only in the Melagiri Region or the Hosur Forest Division.
Please provide as accurate information as possible. Images should be uploaded to KANS picasa album and the link to the picture should be entered in the appropriate field. Also please provide the names of other people who were with you at the time of recording who can corroborate the sighting.
